Inputs (Keyboard And Trackpad)
Eluktronics keyboard and trackpad aren’t anything out of the ordinary, but they are comfortable mechanical keyboards. That’s really important especially if you’re patting with $1000 to $2000. The keys have a moderate amount of travel but feel very responsive, and feature customizable backlighting (in three zones, not per key) with a multitude of colors and effects.
Eluktronics also has a nice Eluktoncs trackpad. Eluktronics is one of two brands that offer LED illuminated E-sports, which is very useful for gamers who never want to stop gaming even when it’s dark. The keyboard feels better than competitors and trackpad is smooth. That coupled with a 10-key Numpad make the laptop great for productivity while not gaming. It would be great if the brand includes a glass touchpad in the future.
Sound And Speakers
Audio quality from Eluktronics laptop speakers is very satisfying thanks to Dolby technologies that boost the audio by 50% and make it sound louder than other brands. This means you’ll be able to listen to music comfortably even with loud background noise without having to plug in your headphones all the time. Eluktronics provides some of the best laptop speakers on the market, but they need more bass especially when gaming. The bass is not too bad but could have been better since Eluktoncs are advertised for gamers who want a complete gaming experience out of their laptops.

Just as important as the design is what’s inside these laptops. In 2021, Eluktronics has paired an AMD processor with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, a more recent graphics card. This does not of course mean all units come with the RTX 3070. there are different configurations available at different price points. This is definitely an upgrade from the high-end RTX 2080 and 2080 of 2019 to 2020.

Eluktronics laptops make a solid case as great mid-range gaming laptops and I can say they are reasonably priced. The brand is affordable and competitive at the same time, with prices starting at $849. The 15-inch laptop will cost you $999, while the 17-inch variants start at around $1,099. If you slap on top of the highest configurations including a 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM memory, it can get very expensive in a hurry. However if your budget allows it, I suggest going for that option since it’s better to have more storage space than not enough (unless you are fond of streaming videos), whereas having half the amount of RAM will make your computer slow down over time.
What I like
The most stand-out aspects of the Elukrtonics brand is price and performance. Their laptops are relatively affordable and powerful enough for most users, in fact, they are excellent value for money. I really like this model, it’s well designed and has a great display (despite the glossy finish). The main selling point of Eluktronics is the cooling system that allows them to put the latest processors in smaller chassis as compared to other brands with similar configurations without any overheating issues – as proven by my friend who bought an Eluktronics gaming laptop.
What Needs Improvement?
Two things about their product line: firstly, their website could be more informative by listing all the features or specifications of each laptop so customers can make better comparisons between models before making a purchase decision.
Secondly, they could also improve their design. I don’t think Eluktronics laptops are incredibly amazing looking compared to the competition, especially Alienware. However, you can still enjoy a gaming session with your friends or colleagues even if they see you carrying a laptop that looks different from theirs because who cares what other people think? The internal components inside Eluktronics laptops are top-notch and the cooling technology is the best in its class, so why not show it off?

The battery should last at least 6 hours which is standard for gaming laptops with a bigger screen and powerful specs.

This model starts at $1,599.99 and is well worth every bit of it. Other than performance, it comes with a backlit keyboard, plenty of ports, great display, and of course 1TB NVMe SSD + 32GB RAM storage.
And if you want something even beefier just wait for their MECH-18 G3 that packs a ridiculous i9 processor and RTX 2080 dedicated graphics card. The price tag might be a bit steep, but it’s guaranteed that you’ll get the most power and bang for your buck with this model.
The only downside is poor battery life – just 4 hours on average and there aren’t many good choices for additional batteries or external power banks for this laptop so if that is a deal-breaker then look elsewhere because you can play pretty well even at 15 fps on 720p settings (I tried myself). Other than that, the Eluktronics Covert MAX-17 is one of the best gaming laptops under $2,000 available right now…and I highly recommend buying it before the prices go up!
3. Eluktronics Prometheus XVII Covert Gamer laptop
The Eluktronics Prometheus XVII Covert Gamer is a feature-packed powerhouse great for gaming on the go. It packs the very best Intel i7-1165G7 Processor, Iris Xe GPU, Thunderbolt 4, 4TB PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD, 16GB RAM, Micro-Edge Touch Display with G-Sync, and the list goes on. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal than this when it comes to gaming laptops with all these features. Thankfully, there is a myriad of configuration options to choose from. You can opt for 4TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD | W10 Home, 1TB or even 512MB option.
The Intel i7-1165G7 Processor makes a huge difference in performance compared to using an i5. The Eluktronics Covert Max can be opened using a standard Philips screwdriver and there are many Youtube videos that show the entire upgrade process of this laptop (including keyboard and trackpad replacement). In fact, if you ever want to replace your graphics card or storage drive with an aftermarket unit, then you will need to do it yourself since Eluktronics only offers a 1-year warranty on everything else but the mainboard.
